S. Florida Man Claims $52M Lotto Jackpot
NORTH BAY VILLAGE, Fla. -- A South Florida man is $52 million richer after Saturday's Florida Lotto drawing. Miguel Pilgram, 40, bought a Quick-Pick ticket matching all six numbers for the Florida Lottery jackpot at the Shell station in the 1300 block of 79th St. in North Bay Village. Lottery representatives said Pilgram chose a one-time lump-sum payment of $29,244,436. The Shell station got a bonus incentive of $110,000 for selling the ticket. Pilgrim told lottery officials that he found out he won the jackpot when he stopped by the store. The manager told him the store had sold the winning ticket, so Pilgrim checked his numbers and found out he was the winner. If you did not win this weekend, another Florida Lotto drawing will be held Wednesday for a jackpot of $2 million. The $252 million Powerball jackpot is up for grabs Wednesday, as well. You can watch the big drawing only on Local 10 news at 11 p.m. Wednesday.
